Salsa picante: Moderately coordinated Caucasian male tries Latin Dance class and finds inspiration
Plantains, frijoles negros, Montecristo cigars and brown-eyed chiquitas batting their eyelashes and calling out "Guapo!" were the images that swirled around my head as I headed to The Dance Collective in Westport to meet Latin Dance instructor and business co-owner Amanda Parton . For the moment, I was Miguel de Cervezas and was about to partake in my first Salsa dance lesson!
