Is smoking a cigar once every once in awhile bad compared to smoking a box of cigarettes a day?
Like what are the risks of getting a disease is lower or higher? Cause I started smoking a cigar, but only every once in a awhile, im planning on doing like once a week, or a big cigar every couple months.
What are the risks like compared to like a box of cigarettes a day to a cigar a week.

Cigars and cigarettes are very different. With a cigar, you do not inhale the smoke into your lungs, just into your mouth. Therefore, cigars rarely cause lung cancer, but can still cause throat and mouth cancer.

Smoking is bad period! Of course cigars and cigarettes cause different illnesses and diseases. Cigarettes usually result in Lung cancer, while cigars may still lead up to cancer of the oral cavity or esophagus. I wouldn’t really smoke if I were you anyway. ~ Sandy A.

cigars have no filters therefore you are exposing yourself to more dangerous chemicals. however smoking causes chemicals and carcenogens to enter your system possibly causing lung, mouth, kidney, liver and many other cancers, aswell as breathing problems. cigars would usually only lead to a risk of oral cancer but this risk wud be extremely high. dont do either

Smoked properly, and relatively speaking, cigars are better to smoke than cigarettes.
Just be aware that they are not without health risks of their own.,….

There is nothing wrong with enjoying a good cigar in moderation.

The risk of smoking a pack of cigarettes a day isn’t all that great, but an occasional cigar won’t hurt you at all. If you enjoy it, do it.

Smoking it’s however a bad abitude. But cigars are less dangerous for your health comapred to cigarettes. The first reasons is ’cause you smoke max. 1 cigar for week; instead if you smoke cigarettes you can smoke also 1 a box per day, as you say! beside you don’t inhale cigar’s smoke, and the risk of cancers are reduced a lot. The worst side it’s than after some time your breath won’t be so good, but if you will smoke cigars just sometimes you won’t have this problem.
