Sometimes the best way to discover a new cigar is to be adventurous and sample something new. But what if you don't want to buy a whole box before you know what you're smoking? That's easy. Try a cigar sampler.
Sampler boxes contain an affordable collection of a particular manufacturer's best cigars. They want to make it easy for you sample their wares. After all, they know it's scary to buy a whole box of unknown smokes.
There are several different ways to choose a sampler:
Samplers by Strength
If you are new to cigars, a sampler is the best way to determine what you like to smoke. The best place to start is with mild to medium flavors. You definitely don't want to start with a full-flavored cigar. Save that experience for after you know what a weaker flavor is like. If you are not sure which cigars are mild and which are strong, don't be ashamed to ask for advice.

The Mild Body Sampler H comes with three traditional cigars (a Cusano Cuvee, Fonseca and Dominique), as well as two non-traditional cigars (an acid Kuba Kuba and a Moontrance Robusto). For a modest price, you can experience the best of mild tobacco blending.
Take a deeper dive into flavor with the Medium Body Sampler J. This sampler includes a Rob Natural, a Cohiba Robusto Natural, a Cusano Cameroon Robusto, a Fonseca Vintage Robusto and a Tatuaje Havana VI Artistas.
For a bit less, you can experience the full flavor of the Full Bodied Sampler C. It includes a Connecticut Black Robusto Natural, an Alec Bradley Medalist Robusto Dark Natural, an Olor Fuerte Robusto Dark Natural, a Padron 5,000 Natural and a Rocky Patel Cuban Blend Robusto Natural.
Create-A-Sampler
What better way to sample cigars than for you to pick out five you would like to try? With a Create-a-Sampler, you pick five cigars, and the fifth one is free. Consider this sampler:
The Camacho 10th Anniversary 11/18 is a smooth and creamy blend of tobacco. It has a natural wrapper and is 6 x 48/54/48. This limited edition cigar was created to honor the Eiuroa family's 10 years of growing the world's only authentic Corojo tobacco.
Don Diego Lonsdale is a blend of Dominican and Brazilian long fillers, with a Dominican binder and a Connecticut Shade wrapper. Blended by hand, the Don Diego is an aromatic mild-to-medium smoke.
Try a Motecristo #1 when you're looking for a mild, smooth smoke. Described as a light, pure cigar, it has a rich flavor that will not overwhelm you. It's somewhat expensive, so cherish it at the end of dinner with a nice glass of wine.
Rocky Patel Cuban Blend Double Corona has been called a "must-smoke" cigar. They are a handmade cigar, made of blended Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers and square-pressed in either a Corojo or Maduro wrapper. It is a robust smoke that will not overpower you, but will probably impress you.
Vegas Cubanas Imperiales are Nicaraguan cigars produced by Jose "Don Pepín" Garcia and Miami's El Rey de los Habanos. Its medium medium-brown Habano Rosado Claro wrapper surrounds a Corojo blend. It's a medium to full body smoke made by a master.
Test Flight Samplers
A test flight sampler gives you the full range of shapes and sizes of cigars from a particular manufacturer. A deal like this lets you try the most popular cigars and saves you money.
