i bought a bunch of cigars at costco and im storing them in a jar with a humidifacation puck and or digital hygrometer is this good for short term storage if anyone smokes and or could give me some insider tips id appreciate it thanks guys

It's fine for short-term stuff.
If you're thinking long-term you should only buy something to store the cigars in if you don't live near a good smoke shop. They've got the top-end stuff, there's no point in having a giant humidor if you can just pop in. Keep a few for friends and save you cash.
