Cigar Humidor Cake
Humidor Cigar Cake with Zippo Lighter This humidor cake helped celebrate the 60th birthday of a cigar aficionado. The humidor included details like a temperature meter, brass handles, a lock and of course many cigars! Alongside the humidor cake we included several cigar sugar accessories a zippo lighter, clippers and an ashtray.

www.famous-smoke.com John Bixler of XiKAR Humidors (formerly Madelaine), talks about his approach to making cigar humidors, and what to look for in a good humidor.

hinges on the back would mean the box technically wouldn’t close. Nothing worse then an unrealistic cake, plus the labels are wrong, and the cigars aren’t shaped properly. You suck, and your cake sucks

That is such an awesome cake! I’m getting one made for my 30th this year, but I will have a more real looking cutter like the Xikar scissors and a butane style lighter, a real cigar person would never ever use a Zippo! Awesome job on the cake!

That is so unbelievable realistic!! Awesome! I LOVE your cakes!
I’m trying to do your vision of the cupcake pool balls but I’m having such a hard time with the triangle rack? Is it made of gum paste and if so, is there any internal support such as cardboard, or is it all gumpaste.

I purchased an Elie Bleu about 2 years ago and I really love it. My friend’s got a Dunhill humidor and he has nothing but complaints about his. Then again, he has the tall ones with the double doors in front of the drawers. I never liked those humidors because of leaks.
