And also where is a good place to get a fairly good humidor (doesn't have to hold too many cigars) for a decent price?

Depends on your location, but in general, MAYBE up to a week before they begin to suffer. The box is not a humidor but the spanish cedar inserts will buffer the humidity to a certain extent.
At the very least, double bag it in a ziplock baggie, removing as much of the air as possible. Even better, place it in a close fitting Rubbermaid container.
